Lightning and Liquid Are Back on BULL Wallet
The short answer: As of October 20, 2026, Bull Bitcoin's BULL Wallet can send and receive Lightning payments again, and you can convert the L-BTC in your Instant Payments Wallet back to on-chain bitcoin. Liquid payments have also resumed on BULL Exchange.

These limits apply to each transfer.
How to convert L-BTC to BTC
Open BULL Wallet, tap Transfer, pick the Instant Payments Wallet as the source and your Secure Bitcoin Wallet or an external address as the destination, then enter the amount.
You can't reuse an address when you convert L-BTC to BTC. If you send the bitcoin to a cold wallet or any other external wallet, generate a new receive address first. Using a new address for every payment is also good practice for your privacy.
Autoswap can also do this for you. In Settings, open Auto Transfer: when your Instant Payments Wallet goes above the maximum balance you set, BULL Wallet automatically converts the extra L-BTC to bitcoin in your Secure Bitcoin Wallet.
How to fund your Instant Payments Wallet
Converting BTC to L-BTC is not available for now. There are two simple ways to add funds to your Instant Payments Wallet:
- Receive a Lightning payment: open BULL Wallet, tap Receive, choose Lightning, enter an amount and share the invoice.
- Buy bitcoin on BULL Exchange, delivered as L-BTC: in the Buy flow, select the Instant Payments Wallet as your payout wallet.

Is Lightning working again on BULL Wallet?
Yes. You can send and receive Lightning payments from 1,000 sats up to 0.25 BTC per transfer.
Can I convert my L-BTC back to bitcoin?
Yes, from 10,000 sats up to 0.25 BTC per transfer, to an address that has never been used.
Can I convert BTC to L-BTC?
Not for now. To fund your Instant Payments Wallet, receive a Lightning payment or buy bitcoin on BULL Exchange with delivery in L-BTC.
